The Institute for Adriatic Crops and Karst Reclamation is actively involved in higher education through its collaboration with the PhD programme in Molecular Biosciences at the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek (mobi.unios.hr). Institute researchers contribute to teaching, mentoring, and research activities, with a focus on applying molecular methods in agriculture, biology, and environmental sciences. PhD students have access to the Institute’s laboratories, experimental fields, and research infrastructure.
The Institute also takes part in lifelong learning programs, organizing professional workshops, seminars, and training in cooperation with academic and expert institutions. These programs focus on sustainable agriculture, conservation of genetic resources, food processing and analysis, agroecology, and climate change adaptation, and are intended for producers, professionals, and all interested stakeholders.
